Maira Hashmi is well known Political journalist from Lahore working with Nai Baat Media Network

She is a Pakistan People's party Correspondent working for Neo News & Article writer for Daily Nai Baat Newspaper. She is also elected as information secretary for the People's party Punjab beat Reporters. She started her career as a Political Reporter at Neo News in 2018 and prove herself a position in the media industry as a well-known journalist just within in few Years. 

She is also covering Punjab Environment Department, Human Rights and Minority Affairs and Punjab Social Security and Labour Departments.

She did her Mass Communications degree from Allama Iqbal Open University Regional campus Lahore now she is studying at the University of Punjab.  

She has done an exclusive interview with ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan when he was in office Saqib Nisar in the 2018 general election for Neo News. 

While she also conducted a special interview with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the long march of PPP in 2022 _ Maira Hashmi's interview went viral on all media channels Pakistan.

She is also known as a reporter who slapped a boy for harassing the media team and family during Eid Live in 2022 which went viral on international media channels across the world
